Ah, that is most definitely incorrect.
Many if not most times weights on narrow bodies are not received until after push.
Taxi checklist on 320/777 as an example do not do check list until well after starting the taxi.

Exactly. The taxi check flows better with both engines started.

Parking brake works too, as notEnuf stated.

You’ve just decided to run the checklists out of order? Flows better? Lol. It flows best when you do it in the order you’re expecting it.

Thank you. I don't get what is so hard for people to just do things how they are trained. Leave it up to pilots to reinvent the wheel, this is exactly the thing the entire industry has been trying to get away from. Standardization/safety is so much easier to achieve when people quit thinking they're smarter than their "master".

There is no rule requiring the taxi checklist to be done before starting the the 2nd engine. As long as you get it done use common sense.

So new hires suck at running checklists and the As are inconsistent with when they call for them. Got it. The horse is tenderized.

What’s the word on interviews or future class dates?

What interview dates have been told to expect Dec 10?

Any classes announced after that?

They said hiring is on hold until we come to a unanimous consensus on the after start and taxi checks...
