That was in 08.

Sorry to pass on bum information. I'm glad they changed that.

True, and for commuters trying to get to work and have to revert to JS, this is why we need to lobby hard for allowing pilots to use FA jumpseats (when available) across all CASS carriers.

Much to my surprise, I received a call for the 16 Jun class last week, which puts the Dinner right in the middle of our planned pack out from military base housing. Wondering whether it's really the sort of event that would rate reshuffling schedules and flying the wife all the way across the country & back for. Thanks
It will be much more entertaining and quotable with a Marine in your class

Hooyah!

Hrkdrvr,

Awesome. I could not tell if he danced with a senior member of management, or put him in a head lock, but that was spot on.

We had a very dry and officious Indoc Instructor. Shoes under desk, pointed forward, no cups ... at the dinner my wife made note of his demeanor and asked his spouse "Has your husband ever told a joke, or done anything funny?" The Indoc Instructor's wife made one of the best unintentional jokes I've ever heard. ... "Oh he does some funny stuff, but never intentionally."

Fun was had by all.

To our new hires, it is a very fun evening. No other airline does anything like it. Terrific part of Delta's culture. If you have not already figured out you are at a class operation, you know then, and be proud of being on the team.

It is a nice dinner. RA showed up for ours. One guy even cried.
I cried at mine. It got so bad the guy next to me had a wet shoulder.
