Do they still do the family tour of the campus and OCC? That was a highlight back in '01.

Long gone in the Corps too. This was half a century ago.

Much to my surprise, I received a call for the 16 Jun class last week, which puts the Dinner right in the middle of our planned pack out from military base housing. Wondering whether it's really the sort of event that would rate reshuffling schedules and flying the wife all the way across the country & back for. Thanks
Not worth it. It is nothing like a dinning out. The execs will bail ASAP, they do 2+ of these a month and it was obvious they were burnt out. If it was an easy commute I would say go for it.

There is a tour for students, but not family.

Too bad. They used to take the family members all over and show them the operation. Let em sit in a sim, go to the museum, take a tour of the OCC. The idea was to involve them so that they would have an appreciation of the company and get them emotionally involved.

JetBlue does this.

When I was hired there, my wife came for two days. Had all kinds of stuff for spouses to do. They had them there for the half day of indoc where they go over benefits and that was great because I would have forgotten all of it like I did at Delta. She got about 30 minutes in a 320 sim and still thinks JetBlue is way better than Delta. She liked the Delta dinner, but didn't even compare to what JetBlue did for spouses. She couldn't believe that Delta put us up in the Comfort Inn on VA which was a total dump.
