I can't remember exactly, but I think if you have your commander's blessing you may be able to - the leave AFI has the exact verbiage in the notes of the table for Permissive.Or, you could just keep your mouth shut and do it anyway...

They expect to resume more normal ops shortly after the first of the year.
(The new sims have outstanding visual and motion. They fly great. The problem is a software weakness. The things won't do "snapshots". That makes certain parts of the syllabus take forever. They're working on a fix.)

FWIW, I called Delta Pilot Selection earlier today and was told that Andy is out of pocket until next Monday. I know that even to Delta all this is kind of like reading tea leaves but hopefully next week he can pass along some good news with planned pool drainage dates.

The reg is vague, but if you really felt you need to follow your inferred intent of the verbiage you could consider job training as a "retirement relocation activity".
