Well, you must be proud to be called lazy by your peers. You volunteer in the CPO because you don't want to have to fly what you can hold...you do, though, want to get paid what you can hold while being home every night. So the CPO says " you know what, why don't you go on APC and keep the rumors in check and just act like you are smarter and more reasonable than everyone on there.
Score, right?
Score, right?
Well. I volunteer for YOUR Union. Actually.
So no. Not the CPO. And 2. Or D. If you have hang ups don't throw them on me, maaaan.
Seriously. I'm just helping out. And this is on my own time. I have never and will never work in a CPO office. And unless someone begs me (will never happen) I'll never be an elected rep.

Nope. Was before may or may not ever be again. If I am this won't effect me anyway. That's not relevant though. Covering that much real estate/traffic/expense is completely unreasonable even if the majority of the base wasn't commuters, which it is and always will be. JFK/LGA isn't nearly as bad but EWR should be either a separate domicile or just another overnighting city. Blending all 3 is a major long standing concession.
And I haven't been NYC based in awhile. LGA and JFK doable. EWR, 100 bucks and 2 hours to get to where your trips (really) start.

If true, any rep who votes yes for these increases needs to be recalled immediately.

It's a pain. I agree.
The categories I have been based on up there EWR was typically covered by the N. PA dudes. So it worked out. I really think a reasonable thing is to have ground trans paid for by the company.
Which it kinda is. We have space a on the crew runner. Anyway. I agree EWR kinda isn't sorta all that really if you think about it hard and deeply all things considered very good.
But the la airports are way way worse.

Indeed. I'm sure there are those higher up that love the fact that we keep floating these rumors of paltry pay gains and give backs. Ludicrous. New rumor: 20-8-8, three year agreement. NO concessions. NO change to PS. Then I might consider it.

I heard this is true but we all get 2000 Delta dollars to use anywhere but CA, NY, FL, HI and international so that's a yes from me.

Must be a good TA for the company to want to get it done this early. Otherwise they could sit back and just save it. Time value of money and everything.
Hmmmmm...wonder why they wanted to get it done so early? If it's because they just care about us and want a cooperative environment then I guess we'll see a minimum of restoration on date of signing without having to pay for it with a cut to PS or scope cave. If we don't see that then I would hope the average DL pilot would be more than a bit suspicious as to their motivation.
