I posed the LCA trip bump question in both the UA and US/AA sub-forums. Take a gander over there.

This is NOT me vouching for the validity of the rumor, just gathering information. I'd be unpleasantly surprised if that was in the TA, as that is certainly an abrogation of seniority. I believe UA has the same deal as us along with much more lenient freezes for changing categories.

It's 7 days per ALPA policy for the MEC to debate it and then vote whether or not to release it. They are under NDA until then.

no per diem increase

aint no way this piece of crap can possibly be our next cba. definitely no
LOL if that's the case then the company actually wants a no vote. They couldn't possibly think we would sign off on that. Less than C2012 pay bumps and a boatload of concessions?

If true this will be a super easy no vote for me. The only thing to consider would be when to send in a card, and for which other agent.

I really don't think this could be right. We'll see though.

I think you're wrong. I voted yes for C2012. If the rumors of trading some PS for measly rate increases are close to accurate, it will be a very easy no vote for me.

Note to ALPA: If the rumored rates are even close to true, don't insult us with a TVM sales pitch.

I wonder how many dues dollars will be spent putting lipstick on this POS before they try to sell it. I'm sure Ford and Harrison has some marketing ideas on the way to union HQ as we speak.

Thought you guys would flock over here with no unions, seeing as we beat down every other labor group back in the good ole USA. This place would seem to be a Rupert Murdoch utopia, but the reality is different. Anderson and his country club boys should at least try to get up to European levels of customer service before criticizing the Gulf people. My airline has made a fortune (5Y) siphoning their money back to the states, so it cuts both ways.

Millions of Americans quit their jobs each and every month for better paying jobs.

McDonalds, Wal-Mart and countless other raise wages just one dollar that is a 10% raise.

My friends here in Michigan that are property developers cannot find trades at any price to build homes for them.

Inflation is coming. Even if it is only 3% that coupled with reduced profit sharing makes 8/6/3/3 self funding.

Restoring value of vacation and training is just that. Restoration. Don't let them sell you that it is pay.

Never forget your defined benefit pension loss. The American pilots have something you will never have.

Apples to apples.

What's the rush? Why does it need to be sold?

Let it sell itself without the sales job.

We can and must hold our for better.

Once in a lifetime opportunity.

I have stated many times RA is wildly successful because he states goals. He measures goals. He demands results.

We don't have stated goals. Measureable goals. Shared goals.

And that is why we don't have a historic TA.

That is why we met management's timeline just like C2012 and fell far short of what we deserve in this once in a lifetime opportunity.

A small handful of insiders drove this package. They set goals and delivered us for less yet again.

The sales machine has been working overtime. They have one last goal. To get 50% plus 1.
