From: Cockpit speaker volume knob set to eleven.
You got some proof they weren't coming?
Nobody said the 50 seaters were going to be reengined. We said that instead of having 125 they'd have 200-225 CRJ-200 after the 3 year period. We also said that there'd be fewer mainline airplanes without the deal and told you management had a plan B. We verified Plan B through the pilot director, aircraft manufacturers involved (competitors) and aircraft leasing companies.
Taking plan A we got about 60 extra mainline aircraft. Do the math on the Captain seats created.
Would management commit fraud and possible SEC violations over a pilot contract?
Really?
Don't make me drag Scambo's quote out again!

C2012 Scorecard:
"Delta was looking to reconfigure their fleet by adding 88 B-717 aircraft"
"Delta needed to add more 76 seat regional jets to help in their negotiations with third parties"
"Delta would save significant maintenance expenses on older 50-seat regional jets as well as produce more revenue from larger aircraft" (highlights mine)
Goals 2012:
"Capture a significant portion of RJ maintenance cost savings"

In an effort to answer these questions as we get closer to road shows please send specific questions to: [email protected]
The experts in the contract language will be answering these and they will be posted on the DALMEC Facebook page.

Professor - the reserve pilot requirements. Old formula vs the new one. I think it means fewer reserves on any given day, except Christmas which looks like twice as many as before (who wants to be home for Christmas anyway right? Bah humbug!), but the math is so convoluded and different as to seem impossible to compare. Is there a way we could get a comparison? Say this months ATLMD88B next to what it would have been under the new computations?

I don't believe we should give at all in this market. How much did we get through the bankruptcy contract? That said, I'm ok with you not letting people call sick and then picking up green slips on any of the days that were dropped due to the sick call. THATS IT. Leave the rest alone. The problem is that you gave about 5 different ways on the sick policy alone.

here's the language: (sorry for the formatting)

From: Going to hell in a bucket, but enjoying the ride .

There is a high probability that the earnings from this one quarter ($1.1 Billion+) will pay for all the 'gains' in this TA for the next 3 years!

How weak is that?
