Donatelli and his support staff do not appreciate your choice of words here Mr. New-Freakin-K.

LOL. Don't make me have to bring my Don out. He is the ultimate Don.

Bonasera. Bonasera, what have I ever done to make you treat me so disrespectfully?......

Ironically, the Godfather story is about two Dons.

One (The father.) was successful, because he rewarded the people who were loyal to him -- and they repaid him.

The other (The son.), was unsuccessful, because he tried to rule with an iron fist -- and they, um, didn't repay him.

Sometimes, a lot can be learned from classic movies....

My letter to my C44 Reps after an invite to Thursdays road show,
This TA stinks and yes I do understand it so I have no need to attend a road show with ALPA goons trying to shut down the opposition or to have MD scold me like a child. The road shows have been a disaster.
The MEC doesn't even endorse the TA. You guys crushed under pressure from MD and the company and passed the buck to the pilot group. Giving them concessions during the most profitable time EVER in airline history. You have backed off "industry leading" and now are happy with selling "industry standard" . Mike Hanson told me he doesn't care about F/O OE holdback as it doesn't affect him. Really, does a Strategic Planning guy not care about half of the seniority list?
I am your canary in the coal mine, things are not going well for the TA and DALPA knows it. I have been with Delta 25 years and have ALWAYS voted yes. Not only am I voting no but HELL NO". And I will be doing so tomorrow morning before I do anything else.
You guys have failed to represent me and my peers. I think DALPA is out of touch with the membership.
MD said he heard us loud and clear but has proceeded to ignore us. "On time and on Target" really? Who's target, the company's?
I am insulted by the company's position and am quite happy to keep collecting my profit sharing on 6-9 billion in profit over the next few years along with not have to be investigated by Segwick private investigators.
Will the company continue to change the TA to try to swing the vote? I.E. changing the sick look back?
Regards,
Scott

P.S. I do thank all of C44 for their service, this is not personal.

And given the load factors into LHR, you may be right!

Does the ALV have a floor that it can't go below? At Ual our rsv guarantee is 73 hrs. Just trying to compare the two

Reserve guarantee is always ALV - 2 except it can never be less than 72 or higher than 80.

This is an excellent letter that many on here should model. It doesn't sugarcoat anything, calls a spade a spade--even lets the reps know the scale of the anger at how this is an unnecessarily concessionary TA given our record profits, and how they failed to represent the pilots during the "process." The anger is real, justified, and plainspoken.

But you don't wallow around in the metaphorical gutter, and for that I thank you.
