Currently the most junior pilot in MSP has about 8 months with the company and all 3 types of narrow body equipment can be held with 18 months in the company. The changes in MSP will result in a increase of over 100 positions there. 3 to 5 years seems wildly pessimistic. I suspect 5 years will hold a Captain seat on MSP in 2023.
