Greetings all, new here and hoping for some help in best guesses on a timeline between submitting an application and hearing back for follow-up/interview etc. I know DAL is looking to hire a bunch of pilots per month for 2020, just curious what the average current estimated wait-time is. Appreciate the help.

Were you able to have a Delta pilot submit an internal recommendation? If your application is competitive (looks like it may be from your posts) then that will accelerate the process significantly since it will guarantee that your app will be scored. Many times, getting your application looked at and scored is more than half the battle.

Quite low time, I thought Delta required at least 2500tt, but I could be wrong. Your military time will definitely help along with your master's and CP work. It's still a crap shoot on a timeline though. Good luck!

It's definitely not 2500. Lot of guys hired with well less than 2500. Pretty sure it's 1500 for now.

1500 is the published min. TONS of mil folks hired closer to 1500 than 2500, especially fighter background...

If you want your app scored you need to get them to submit one. Only one needs to e-mail pilot selection, but if they all will give you letters of recommendation in airline apps that is great.
