I did find it on the DALPA website, thanks. I still don't think Delta should be adding sections to cover the job action of a workgroup at a JV airline.

A few years ago the flight attendants and ground staff for AF were on strike and DL upgauged several CDG flights and I was called out while on call to work that flight. Its a shame I had a flat tire on the way to work. I'm not on call over the next few weeks but if I was and was called out to work one of these flights I surely wouldn't push to fly with a sore throat. Just saying.

Ok. I'm going to go with our Chairman's view on this one. He probably talked to a lawyer or two in Herndon, as well.

Ok so you read the official view from the MEC Chairman and you are still asking pilots not to pick up sections although there is nothing going on officially until the union at Virgin says there is something going on.

Last time people did stuff like that we ended up with the 49ers.

If you feel so strongly about this then you need to bring it up with your union, when you finally convince enough FA's to vote for one.

FA,

I appreciate your thoughts and advice. You are very knowledgeable and informed. But, if you work for Delta, you have got to know that what you are posting is not exactly smart.

If I were you, I'd ask the mods to edit or remove some of the things you wrote.

Think about it.

No, not quite. I just think ALPA should take a bit stronger position on the matter. Everyone does what they need to do, at this point it's just a question of morality.

I know exactly what you're saying, and i'm not sure how calling in if you got a flat tire or calling in if you have a sore throat can be used against you. Not to mention the fact that on this forum your name or personal info isn't made public.

Morality of it? How do you figure? You need to go back and reread the Chairman's letter. He has talked to both of the unions involved over there and the one calling for this limited action said this would not be considered struck work and Virgin pilots were allowed to pick up overtime.

You may need to rethink your stance about wanting a union. You see once you have it in writing in the PWA it doesn't matter what your personal moral code is, it's what your contract says.

I will give an example. When I was on furlough guys on property were greenslipping their butts off. Did I from the outside looking in think it was morally right...no, was it legal under the PWA yes. Did I greenslip once I got back on property...no. Did I harass anyone that did...no, it was their right under the PWA.

You're nuts to think that. I personally have had my information from here passed from a moderator to his buddy that also posts here. That friend tried to call me out and blame me for a delayed flight out of Toronto cause of the timing AND LOCATION of my post. So some crew had to do the carpet dance with the Chief Pilot. Meanwhile I was in Toronto, but no where near a jet. Your information on here is NOT SAFE!!!!

I don't think I'm harassing anyone in my post. Am I? Just the fact that this is being discussed is a step forward.

Delta knows exactly who most of us on here are. The more you post and the more inflammatory your post is, the more likely it is that they will make it a priority to find out who you are.

Ask around. There are several posters here who have been called out on for what they posted on here. Maybe they could PM you?

I don't think the flat tire comment is necessarily condemning. But, suggesting that pilots not pick up work will possibly get anyone one of us in a jam with the company. Let alone you, who has no union protection and no real legal protection. (Your comments would have to be construed to be some part of some organizing action to get that.)

Trust me. You should be careful on here. We are not anonymous.
