Abstract Thought: It’s been mentioned that since DAL and 9E are both represented by ALPA, a staple cannot just simple happen, They have a integration procedure to follow. However, if flow was approved and according to the TA we’re limited to 20/month, UNLESS a higher amount is agreed upon by both company management. Who’s to say they can’t agree to flow all of us at once.

But yes, I do find it peculiar that they are giving all this up for just 35 aircraft. But they’ve done it before…

Most former Endeavor/Regional. They forgot... elite status now.

I rode the RJ train for 11 years partly at XJ/9E, a lot has changed for the better for EDV pilots to get to DL. Having been on both sides, pilots being creatures of habit look out for themselves. ALPA claims to be all about "what's best for the profession", and while there have been good things, especially those safety oriented. wWhen it comes to labor issues, agreements, TA's, etc, emotion gets involved and everyone has an opinion. Unfortunately the world turns the way it does. We all get wrapped up in an argument amongst pilots all for the sake of Delta trying to do whatever they can to make more money by flying 35 RJ's. It really is unfortunate, it's a business decision...but again every group looks out for their best interest. I think a majority of guys at DL want to see Endeavor pilots here flying DL jets. With that being said, it's unprecedented to see an airline of the magnitude that DL is, make the mistake that has matured into the potential forfeiture of giving up 35 airplanes. I can guarantee you when they closed the door at CPZ it is not something they thought of, otherwise they would of had a plan in place. Unfortunately now all they can do is lawyer up, and by doing so puts two labor groups at odds with each other for their own best interest and leverage. Ultimately when the fog clears there's going to be at least one party, potentially more, who don't like the result.

Second Thought: This is about gaining a negotiating chip against DALPA so they use some of their capital in the current contract talks.

True, but it can be negotiated with a fence. If all parties agree then it can be done. Basically a Flow with a seniority number to all on property and similar flow guidelines.
This would solve many a problems..

Most would love to Flow to Delta but in this environment of uncertainty, this 90% flow down is a big ask with no long term guarantees. If I had a DAL seniority number I know I could come back at some point with a job at Delta.

What same exact thing? AA had WO pilots hired outside the flow every single month when they were hiring.

How can I care if I am unaware of your specific proposals? Every regional has made this argument, including my former one. Lanyards are not dialogue.

...only after 9Es showed up on the Delta pages claiming a right to a Delta job. I had to drive by to see what their trolling was about. If the 35 jets with 76 seats (the one that are in violation of our outsource weight restriction) go to mainline, they will need pilots.

I guess DALPA announced an informal picket? Who wants to join? 😅😅. If only some of these Delta pilots wore an orange lanyard. I would’ve considered joining the walk.
