You should "captains" to your last post. FOs won't be hired.

At this point, they have hired just as many FO's as they have captains. They are interviewing anyone interested, the only difference is that as an FO, you have to do the two day interview AND you have to wait longer in the pool. The classes will be filled 2/3's in seniority order of captains, 1/3 of FO's. So classes will be filled with 8 captains in SSP order, and 4 for anyone else on a first come, first serve basis. That captain provision has to do with how they fill classes, call Delta HR if you don't believe me.

Yeah... in a pool with no idea when I might actually make it to "the big show" or go to a place that will move 300 people over to Delta over the next three years (guaranteed as long as Delta hires), which puts me in the left seat sooner and opens up doors for me to go anywhere including Delta...

How is that blowing a huge opportunity exactly? At 18-1900 on the Endeavor seniority list my career was going nowhere.

Guess we'll see how it all shakes out in the end won't we????

No love lost for me, you can keep the SSP.

At this point, they have hired just as many FO's as they have captains.
The two I've heard, one had previous TPIC time (a little bit at least) and the other former military (so I assume some TPIC as well).

If an FO at Endeavor has such an amazing oppurtunity ahead of them, why would Ryan Gumm tell one to go to Compass on a company conference call?

You're prediction of everyone being hired at Delta by the end of next year is overly optimistic at best, how did you even come to that conclusion? Are there any factual numbers to back this up? Assuming half the seniority list wants to go they would have to be interviewing a little under 100 pilots a month from Endeavor alone. I have a hard time believing that is what's going on.

Not trying to be a debby downer. Just saying this post doesn't make much sense and you really aren't seeing the potential value in going to another regional. None of us will really know if it was a good move for an Endeavor FO to move laterally for a few years.

I know they have already been calling guys at endeavor with seniority # in the 500s , wondering how long it will take for a guy(or girl ) like me (around 900ish) to get an interview, I've had my application in for about 5 years. Also this "pool" how long can one with my seniority expect to swim? Just don't want it to be like some others, where you get hired and sit in a pool for over a year, and have to re interview (FedEx comes to mind).. Anyway, it's been a bad year for us all at endeavor, but here's to a better future. I really think we are on a positive path for once.. (Fire away negative Nancys)

Not really fair to take a jab at negative nancys from your chair. You're a captain, somewhat close to being called for interview at Delta so you've got seniority... Explain to any current 9E FO, capped at $37/hr for years to come, with no upgrade in sight and flying for an airline that's shrinking its fleet, how in the world is it that we have a bright future ahead.

Funny how even in our own 9E forum all the guys trying to cheer the group are the super senior ones who are sitting on the left, chatting about their coming delta interview and such. Those are the cats telling the rest of us future is bright.

No kidding, I love the talk of quick upgrades coming as 80 captains are scheduled for downgrade in the next couple months. Plus the management on the conference call saying they have no argument for anyone going to Compass.

Maybe management knows Delta is buying Compass merging them with Endeavor and it's all a wash. Just a thought.
