Absolutely not, I'm just spoiled by my current 20 minute commute by car to my current gig. I would assume that an endeavor pilot flying on an endeavor flight out of BTV would get priority over a JB or DL pilot, no? Same goes for 9E flights from Boston, albeit with more people trying to make the same commute?

Not trying to be a devils advocate, but commuting is completely foreign to me, trying to gather as much information as I can.

If it's a 9E flight the pilot jumpseat is yours, period. Only exception would be if there's a line check (in which the jumpseat is occupied).

Also, if it's on a 900 you have the extra F/A jumpseat as well.

I can't believe I am voluntarily rehashing this subject, but for anyone curious about seniority "stagnation" at this company this may be of interest.

I did some voodoo math on the ISL and only about 1/5 (~22.9% actually) of our list is could be lifers and that is probably conservative. I won't throw out exact numbers since I have no idea who actually reads this.

Voodoo math brought to you by a really bad statistics course in college and the seniority list as of January 19th, 2017.

Any relation to voodu economics or "lock boxes"? Kids ask your parents.

Although it's rare, I believe FAA trumps everyone for the jump seat.

But that 23% of folks likely hold 60-70% of the most desirable or sought after seats (mostly on the CA side).

That's 23% of this company that won't be taking a slot in a new hire class at a major. High time folks that would bump you down in the stack, aren't even in the stack
