So basically your 57 hours short of the 121 time. I would call the union if you have already spoke to someone.

It's 1000 company unless they reduce it. 17-01 it went down to 808 and 2020 TT. So iyou meet all except 808.

They don't reduce the REGULATORY time, of 1000 hours of 121.436 time. The other times they do reduce, from what has been explained to me.

Yes that is what they say, every time. But then they actually do but nobody is gonna say, 'Hey, I didn't deserve this upgrade, I only had 980 hours, take it back' so none of us hear about it.

It's possible that since the 1000 121 isn't reducible that they can't project out like with company time. Maybe the FAA require to have the time when the vacancy comes out. Just a guess.

Yes that is the exact explanation they give, but then what they say and do are two different things. Which I'm fine with them reducing 121 time, just reduce it fairly to everyone across the board.

If a pilot meets the FAR time when the vacancy closes, shouldn't he/she be awarded it over someone who doesn't?
