I've been here less than one year and have read about 90% of the contract, I am far from being lawyer. Putting on your big boy pants and sitting down and reading alittle goes a long way. It gets me when people come here to ask contract based questions.
Well in my first year here, I had to read stuff like FOM, CFM and systems manuals not just once but twice. I don't have time to read

You had time to sit here all day, you've got 5x the post count I do. You could have simply called a rep or wrote an email with questions and had a legal responses for free. Cut your web board time down by 1/2. IPad has the contract right there, if I'm your FO sometime I'll read it aloud like books on tape, a five day, we'd have half the contract done. Youve already blown how much time on the web boards? Read 3 and 25 for homework tonight.

While the last few payments have been on the 20th, this is what the contract says, "The retention payment for each Retention Period will be paid as close as possible to the paycheck issued on the 16th (the “first paycheck”) of the month following the end of that Retention Period, but in no case later than the 23rd of that month."

Well the good news is you're not moping and moaning about it. 😀 I think it's as good a place as any to go for help. Many peoples' inquiries have been quelled here.

2) I believe to be wrong. I changed bases, and my vacation stayed with what I had bid months prior in my original base. I think vacation only has to be re-bid if you upgrade.

you have to rebid vacation if you change seat or equipment, if it is just a change in base your good.

Thanks for the correction. I am pretty sure I typed "upgrade or change acft", must have deleted it or just imagined it. Seems I need another beer before I post anymore. Or maybe I should just close this browser and go read the contract.
