No pbs whiz here but I think enabling 6 consecutive days of work might help.
Yep enable six days and allow single day off and you can pool your dates to have big chunks of time off. It works very will living in base, probably would suck for commuters since you’d be gone from home longer stretches.

HORRIBLE advice for a NH on probation. Please tell us you’re joking?

Do you live on these boards and comment on everyone’s posts? Been a member 2 years and 2,000+ posts, wow.

Seriously though, try to bid it off, maybe you get some if not all, then try to trade days with open time or someone to get more, then possibly pony up the money to someone to cover your days. Or you can be unprofessional like me and just not bid it off, unfortunately develop an illness and be smart enough to not use your travel benifits or KCM during your sickcation.

Given your obvious lack of integrity, it’s probably a good thing you don’t post here too often.

If you ever come back to EDV, look me up, we can sit down over a beer and discuss quotas and ways to get one over on the company.

Bid packs are up for March. TDY from NYC to ATL 900 FO went very senior like I predicted.

Nothing wrong with a good sickation! You can’t take the time with you, and in most cases it doesn’t pay out either.

1- God
2- Family
3- Work

I’m not going to send my wife and 3 children off on a trip with her or my family without me. If I don’t have the seniority to get the days off or have vacation that week, question my integrity all you want, but I’m going to do what it takes to put my family first, if that requires a sick call, so be it. This is just a job, yes it helps me provide for my family and 99% of the time my family sadly has to take the back burner and me miss a lot of bdays, holidays and school events. You handle your business how you see fit and I’ll handle mine. The poster can decide if he wants to follow my first three suggestions before he goes the sick call route if he is the type to feel comfortable doing that.

Next Union priority has got to be the pay credit for LMS. Between the warts/nats nonsense and the endless vnav, canpa, advisory vnav training I'm like two hours deep. With like 12 more to go......

Yup, just when I thought I had a chance of holding a line in ATL (of course the potential 44% reserve staffing doesn't help). Maybe the next vacancy will help me and all my lowly friends.
