You are correct, but he was talking about individuals who had a second interview.

As far as the sell job went, I’ve either been brainwashed through the years or it happened. I sat in a few different meetings and heard about the “formality” of the process, meant to weed out a few bad apples.

Glad to see they still are tying our CEO job to the SVP of Delta Connection Job.

I can guarantee not everyone will take them up on that deal... how many in the SSP never did a first interview?

I can see where you’re thinking but how many people hired here since the DGI want to stay at endeavor for their career compared SSPs. I think a lot of people that didn’t do the SSP are just lifers. My number one choice isn’t delta but I’m still gonna apply for the DGI anyways.

The top 10% are lifers and that's a lock. Subtract that top 10%. Sometime go through the old FOUs from RE and count up total applicants not total interviews (you have to dig through and find an old seniority list from those days)and you'll come to an obvious conclusion. I don't agree with avroman often but it's clear something like half the pilot group wasnt interested.

About how old are most of the lifers? Is that one of the main reasons?

I understand. That is like a lot of the regionals. I am curious, will half of the lifers (or more) retire at 65 in the next few years? Or are a lot of the lifers much younger?

There aren’t many old lifers. First three pages of the seniority list have about 35 retiring in the next 5 years (out of 246), after that it starts getting in to much younger 2004 and beyond hires. 2/3 of our pilot group was hired in 2015 and beyond.
