That is how it it works, plain and simple. Call in sick, forfeit premium pay for the ENTIRE month, not just the trip you called out for. If you think money loss for this punitive policy doesn't factor in a pilot's decision whether to call in or fly when they are marginal, you've got a lot to learn little buddy.
Yeah, that's one of or worst provisions, it should read, sick time can't be used for premium pay.

We all joke about how bad DG is at communication, but this is a staggering new level of terrible. Just think. We haven't received ANY direct communication from our CEO since the beginning of this virus. None. The last email was from "senior leadership" and the last one before that came from safety. Just impressively bad leadership.

To think this company owes you for premium pay work that you aren’t performing in a time like this, is extremely selfish. Read your contract kids.

No, they take away your premium pay from the previous trips you already flew. If you pick up a trip at 200% in the first part of the month, then call in sick for a regular trip later in the month, that 200% trip, drops to 100%.

What do you want? The situation is very fluid and they likely know about as much as we all know.

The 200's can be parked immediately, and probably the 700s as well. This is going to get ugly.
