Not necessarily, they have to be awarded something now, and "NYC" doesn't exist yet. If somebody just requires a base change it could be rather immediate depending on move dates.

I believe I heard in the past that the cobase wouldn't even require a vacancy, simply one month JFK+LGA=NYC

Bummer, that's what Paul said too. The company treats 121.436 as an upgrade requirement, even though it is to act as PIC. I'll only be < 10 hours shy at the final award and am guaranteed 25 hours of OE prior to acting PIC. Sucks to be so close. Any word on when 18-02 will come around?
