I heard they pay 50% of 4 shirts, 2 pants, 2 ties, belt, and blazer, is this about correct?

The $240 stipend you can use on anything else above and beyond that.

There is a class the 29th you should be able to make I believe.

And they're about every 2 weeks, correct? so if not 2/29 then it would be 3/14?

I don't think you get the $240 as a new hire. It's credited at the first of the year.

Sounds about right, but class dates can change to keep the pipeline steady throughout training. May be 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks depending on class size, but overall it seems 2 weeks is the norm.

I believe they cover the 50% of the standard "uniform allotment". The other 50% comes out of the paycheck for the first year. The uniform supplier is M&H. My advice is get the blazer and trenchcoat, but go on crewoutfitters.com to buy a tie and luggage, a local place for black dress pants and belt, and acutaboveuniforms.com for pilot shirts. I'd suggest 4 shirts (min), 3 black pants (min), and a pair of black dress shoes that DONT have metal shanks. If you have a size 12 or larger shoe, good luck. I wear a 14 and just buy black dress shoes and know to take them off in ANY security line. Even in pre screen, they beep. If you aren't over 6'2 and a size 12, look at Clarks for "airport friendly" shoes. I refuse to use clarks as they don't last, but hey, it's your preference.

I say the numbers above for a few reasons. 1 blazer, 1 trench, 1 tie, 1 belt. Simple stuff. I keep a spare belt and zipper tie in the bag, but they are my old tie/belt In the event current ones take a quick death (yes, it happens). For pants, 1 pair is normally fine for a trip stint, but keep 1 spare pair just in case, with another one in the "at the cleaners" rotation. For shirts, keep 1 shirt for the trip, 1 in the bag when you get sweaty (or really any trip more than 3 days either way), 1 at the cleaners, 1 as a spare In the bag.

Moral of the story... You need 1 pair of pants, 1 shirt, 1 tie, 1 belt, 1 version of an overcoat (blazer and/or overcoat), and 1 pair of shoes. Beyond that, it's personal preference. I carry an extra tie, belt, shirt, and pants, with a full day of boxers, undershirt, pair of epaulets, and a pair of socks. Fits easily in the outer pockets on a perty neat bag.

The full allotment suggested is the following:

2 black belts
2 zipper ties (black)
4 pilot shirts
2 pairs of epaulets
1 blazer
1 overcoat
1 sweater (if that's your thing- perfectly fine, ties into 2 sets of epaulets)
3 pairs of black pants
7 boxers/briefs
7 white undershirts
7 pairs of black socks

That's for work... Worst case of a 6 day string, with understanding of a pair of pants and a work shirt at the dry cleaners.

For overnights, add a tshirt, a collared shirt, pair of jeans, 2 workout shirts, 1 pair of workout shorts, and a couple pairs of workout socks.

If you rock a blazer or sweater, add a pullover to the list to use when going out to eat on a overnight.

All of my causal clothes, suits, and business casual attire.

When you are junior and have 6 days of flying or 6 day stint on reserve, you gotta be prepared. It all fits In a stealth 22" and easily in the overhead of a -200 or -900, and chargers also loaded in the side. Add a duffle for the iPad, food (protein bars and nuts), and headphones, you still have room for a big water bottle when you start your trip. That brings up another point. For luggage, a 22" stealth will fit in all the mainline overheads wheels first. A 26" won't. If you commute or are junior with deadheads, baggage space is a concern. The 22" works great, the 26" is huge, but the convenience of a 22" is far better. Pack accordingly.

Just don't buy or wear the hat. Not required. If it ever is required, there will be a contractual gain and it will get negotiated to be provided to you. The hat won't fit in the bag. I have all my hair, not wearing it until I'm paid to wear it. It would mess up my hair!

Default Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?

How long after being hired does one have to wait to book a flight with the discount for a confirmed seat for spouse/domestic partner?
