Nice try at putting words in my mouth. I never mentioned either of those things. My frustration is with the union on the two LOA's that I specifically mentioned, and how I feel they should get feedback from the pilot group before they implement an LOA. That's the extent of it. You turned it into a blanket statement regarding the SSP. Am I talking to a union rep here. Because I feel you can't be subjective?

think you can do better. LOA's are best left to OUR elected officials
than having 1500 pilots give their 2 cents and never agree on anything.

Agree to disagree, I guess. I see it as hurting many. And by not being fair does that by nature. In my opinion it actually hurt the company the most. It angered so many FO's and excellerated the already high attrition just to pamper a select few of the pilot group. Then to slow the excellerated bleeding the company offers the retention bonuses

My friend started at 9E a few weeks ago. He's saying 12-18 months for upgrade and that 2015 hires are already being awarded upgrade. True or false on those statements?
Across the street we are upgrading 24/month and only have about 900 pilots with about a 2 year upgrade... I don't see how his math works.

Junior CA is an early 08 hire but with the 2010-2014 hole in our seniority list it will be a 2015 hire by Spring 2017.

But the argument and sentiment is quite real apparently regarding these narrow-tracking LoAs. The fundamental flaw about it is contrary to what some here may suggest. Pilots who abhor these proceedings are grossly impotent when it comes to doing anything. Not to their discredit, it's simply how things are done around here. I brought up the subject because I had no clue what this blasted LoA was about. I love the tutelage it has warranted. Out of the nutshell, nearly a decade into this unforeseen career or a job, I guess it could be worse.

Someone once said opinions are like *********s. Everyone has one. Pardon me for having both. Maybe just try acecpting the fact that it's only my opinion. You may be Hilliary, I may be Trump. My opinion may not always align with yours. So do what works for you

I love when people actually try to censor me or tell me what not to write about. I love anonymity. Plus I absolutely love getting a rise out of people but that's not what I post for.
