As a lineholder, they are separate. As a reserve, well they have to start and end your trips in your base, but you will be covering for both airports (and anywhere else scheduling decides to send you) oh, and an added bonus is you get to sit reserve for all of the rest of Delta Connection, especially GoJet and ExpressJet.

Only weak pilots opt for the 900. The better ones choose the 200.
The 900 pilots are hand picked. They also should wear their epellets flipped upside down to show their superiority. And all FO's should consider wearing their sunglasses inside the terminal.

I don't know, picking up the segments other carriers can't operate doesn't seem like a bad gig. Extra flying, more money. Being a reliable carrier has its advantages, right?

First you are on rsv for your own equipt. and domicile. You could possibly
be given a trip from a broken 900 if your a 200 driver and vice versa. Also
you could be given a trip from another DCI or mainline cancelled trip. They
do the same for us though to!
You could be deadheaded to pick up a trip in another city also or a maint repo or ???
They will be separate but if they need you somewhere else they will arrange transport to get you there by AC or Taxi or Limo.

Line holder or not you will begin trip in domicile, first leg could be by taxi though.

Yeah I ended up deadheading on a Shuttle flight that we were supposed to operate a few weeks ago. Happens to everybody.

No but a 200 flight could be upgraded to a 900 and vice versa. It doesn't happen too often in my experience but it does occur

Not really. Especially when you are on reserve. On a side note, I wonder how many endeavor captains plan on moving on. Seems like the top 500 aren't in any hurry. That will have an impact with future QOL for new hires when upgrade approaches. If it's stagnant up top, that's a problem. Basically it boils down to four category's of CA's
1. Been here too long no reason to start all over.
2 unmotivated & satisfied with status quo.
3 Something like a DUI, MIP can't leave.
4 can't get past interview phase.
