You know that is irrelevant when it comes to the upgrade right? The only benefit he has aside from his original pay is that he already has the required times. A person hired today with the required times would be in the exact same position. Being a re-hire doesn't let you skip seniority.

You will never be able to vote on a contract that doesn't have some tit for tat exchange in the scope section. The reason is market share, Delta doesn't own its own flying everywhere in the system. Especially going forward, since foreign governments want their own people flying the planes that come into their countries.

At some point, if the shortage gets so bad, that say Skywest falters, mainline will have to over hire, give a mainline number to the pilots, then furlough them to cover Skywest's market share. Otherwise, Delta has to surrender 5% of their network, which they would never do.

A hate group is when the group is created to specifically foster hatred. It doesn't become a hate group because you hate them.

See, even if it makes you and a few others hate the group, that doesn't mean it's a hate group. Unfortunately BLM isn't a terribly PC group and they bring up hurtful facts to incite change. Now people hate their fact-base approach because facts sometimes hurt, and some of their parade/protest crap is really poorly done and disheartening. However, hate groups is when you try to foster things like a neo-nazi / white supremacy agenda. Trying to make entire social or racial classes less than another group.

I understand it's a weird distinction to you, but that is the distinction. In other words, you can hate them, and they don't foster the kinds of hate that make them a hate group. Not trying to debate (thats something else), just man-plaining to ya.
