As in pilots are leaving 9E for Envoy?

I really don't understand why people would do that. You are leaving one job for the another that's the exact same. Pick a company that gets you QoL and stick with it until you can move on to something better.

Yes reserve sucks. It's straining my relationships and patience but it's a far cry better than going through 2-3 months of indoc training at another company.

Depends. If you were looking at msp or dtw base and all your friends went to airline x and already have it and it's still their junior base it might make sense.

Someday pilots are gonna have to learn to stop giving self serving career advice to their co workers. You wanna leave? Its ok. The best things that ever happened to endeavor was half the pilots bailing. Reminder, the "thanks for not leaving us check" posts in 2 days. Make it rain!

What would be Delta's motivation to sweeten the pot before now? They are getting a fair amount of new hires, and until Endeavor's package was pretty good. Still is. Now I would think if our ability to hire is impacted by the Envoy deal, or lateral movement increases, or both Delta will make a change. It doesn't make sense to run to Envoy this quickly. At least give it a couple months and get a better feel for things. Also it's rummored that the build up in New York is temporary and that equipment and flying will come back to the Midwest bases.

Last thing I heard was long-term goal for flying is 55% NYC, 45% DTW/MSP. So it's pretty much a 25% split between all base airports.

I'll believe it when the company puts it in writing somewhere. We asked the CP at RGS a few weeks ago. His answer wasn't very positive in the likelihood.
