Not good. That being said, if you bid MSP -200 you should be able to bid into it fairly quickly. I could have bid it this month and I'm a June hire. You have 2-3 months in training to try to rebid the aircraft/base you want. The initial award isn't a death sentence.

That's what they told us in class last week when we all got our aircraft assignments, which makes sense especially if you're most likely gonna get what you want on the next vacancy bid anyway. We had about 7 guys get the 900 between DTW, and NYC, 2 MSP 200 guys, and the rest of us got DTW 200. When we looked today in class at the last vacancies it looked like most guy's just went to DTW if the wanted the 900 and just took MSP on the 200 of thats what they really wanted.

The only regional that I know of, that gets on the plane before DL is ExpressJet. Somewhere in their contract with DL it states that they get on before DL. So if you're looking to Nonrev on ExpressJet, the boarding priority is EV (S3) DL (S3B1) DCI (S3C)

I believe that is a contract clause left over from when they were wholly owned.

Sorry to hear that, but unfortunately no, Delta doesn't allow subsitutions.

Any leads or tips on a NY crash pad? I am JFK based and need to line one up ASAP.

I would appreciate a PM if you have specific info.

Thanks!

No, currently any EV person gets to have priority on any EV metal before any DAL employee gets on. This was negotiated after EV was sold from DAL.

EV employees can use S2 on EV metal, but not DAL metal. On DAL metal EV employees are S3C priority. Not sure if other DAL FFD carriers have this, but we pay $200 a year for travel benefits.

Agree 9E should have priority over DAL on own metal. Problem is DAL owns 9E and will call the shots that favor DAL employees. As we all know, Anderson has been the grim reaper for DCI carriers many times over.
