Already flying quite a bit on the 175.
Don't let the magic flow fool you.
We don't get the cushy efficient schedules, market pay rates or decent QOL of other regionals. Most of what we do have has been fought for tooth and nail by the union. When we see what little QOL/opportunity we did have slip away, it frustrates me that we will have to expend negotiating capital to get it back that could be spent moving forward. Management has perfected "stealing our lunch' and making for us pay to get it back over and over again. I'll leave it at that.

Read the most current email from the Union and this should show the companies true colors to all the new hires and those looking to come here.....
For those not yet on property....The company refuses to negotiate in good faith on new reserve rule language to replace our old, outdated language. They demand that we all take more concessions for any improvement, even when we have the worst rules in the industry. They even threatened the Union with an ultimatum to continue negotiating.

Not privy to any of it, but I'd imagine the words "harmonization" and "AA OT" were used.
Which I would personally be ok with, provided the pay, retirement and a sizable list of other items were harmonized to the AA in the process.

In addition to the above statements, cadets are the issue, filling up the pipeline.
Nothing will change until these Cadets stop coming! Way too many in the pipeline.
We lost a fight allowing company to give cadets #1 choice in class bidding.
They come for the E175 SJS & 9 year flow in the backseat.
Can the Pipeline be stopped with the flood gates already opened to the youth next generation SJS (I’ll fly the E175 for free & because it’s fun & not a job mindset)?
