I guess when it comes from an Envoy salesman, it isn't a sales tactic and it certainly isn't "conjecture", but certainty and fact. When a message arrives against that position from elsewhere, it's "conjecture". The reality is that the whole flow "projections" of Envoy and other AAG regional managements (and in the case of Envoy, some of its union reps and pilots as I don't see many other AAG regional's pilots selling their managements upgrade/flows like Envoy) is in fact, the original conjecture of this equation, it's just that a combination of Stockholm Syndrome and Battered Wife Syndrome has turned up into down, black into white and left into right.

Ah....crazy times are indeed upon us.
Either the envoy sales men have it right or the eaglefly has it right. When ever one counters the other, the other claims the other has less validity.

We believe you, eaglefly!

The future will prove one of us correct. By the end of next year, we will know and I can live with the result. Hopefully, Envoy pilots not in the 824 will be able live with it as well (at least those who may have been deluding themselves that nothing could go wrong with their flow expectations). Unfortunately, one of your key salesmen will likely be settling in at AA and the only question then, is what he will morph into then when he is a VERY junior AA pilot watching his path grind to a halt and the AAG regionals get a breather at his expense ?

I expect a new color from the chameleon, but who knows......maybe he'll remain as the Consigliere for you guys at least on the sly ?

The birth of "Mason64" ?

There is no rank 64 in the scottish rite branch of freemasonry. Also there isnt a consigliere. It's not the mafia ( officially anyway )
I expected better from you.
I know Brando is awesome but you have to stop watching the godfather.
Also, Never tell anyone outside the Family what you are thinking again. Go on.

Not very perceptive are you ?

I'm familiar enough with Freemasonry to know there isn't a "64" and it wasn't literal. But is was apt, as it is no less phony then the person who is/was 32 or for that matter the self-serving sales pitches made here. As for the mafia ? Well, obviously I assume you're just another Envoy pilot who isn't much of a student of history at his own airline. In the past, there WAS an Eagle ALPA fiefdom nicknamed the "East Texas Mafia" and some believe the present team (or at least key members) do indeed enjoy such a power base like their ancestors, although obviously far more clumsy and misguided. I assume you were in grade school then, so I'll cut you some slack there as I DIDN'T expect more from YOU.

Both references were perhaps a little too sophisticated for you to grasp (for different reasons) and obviously I think you should never tell ANYONE inside the family, let alone outside of it what you're thinking again Fredo, UNLESS you're sure you have an accurate grasp of what they're saying.

I'd like to block eaglefly. Anyone know how I go about doing that?

Just because he has no life doesn't mean I need to waste my time scrolling through pages of his erroneous negative babble.

Are you stupid? Every vacancy bid we have had in the past decade has been like this with a "no later than" date way out in the future. It's part of the contractual requirements for posting vacancy bids IIRC. Sorry, you aren't scaring anyone off.

People always go way before those dates. I just had one 18 months no later than. I went in 6 weeks. I have never waited more than 3 months since I have worked here and they all read that way.

How long did you work here again?

Thanks. Many at Envoy are much happier with one-sided info. It actually is good that those pilots ignore me as it puts less chaff on the forum as I don't have to constantly defend myself from personal attack and load unnecessary posts. I would suggest any pilot who cannot tolerate my opinions put me on ignore and refrain from responding to me. Those who are strong enough people to accept all POV's on issues that might affect them, have no need to do that.

Are you illiterate ?

That's exactly what I posted, i.e., that it's a protective function for the company, but 18 months out ? That is excessive and tells a story, but alas, many of you aren't interested in looking. Personally, I think many of you are in for a crushing disappointment and you'll have no one but yourselves to blame.

They were not always that long in the past. Sure, most go in much shorter periods, but the company puts them out there that far in the future for a reason. THEIR reasons, not yours. Relax..........the salesman all say you're upgrade/flow is assured, so anything I say must be meaningless, yes ?

Since that must be the case, one wonders why what I say gets so many all whipped up into a tizzy ?

Perhaps, deep down, you know my points have some validity and confronting them creates an and intolerable inner conflict with yourselves which is something you prefer not to confront. Ignorance truly is bliss, isn't it ?
