However there has not been any announcements stating that Envoy would be closing, so the point is mute at this point.
Jesus....wrong and wrong. I can only assume your birth year is 1999.....and it's "moot", not "mute".

Looking at PSA Airlines | PSA Airline's Fleet Growth Schedule- Updated | February 26, 2015 and PSA Airlines | PSA Fleet Growth | October 22, 2015

So while the overall growth for PSA has increased by a total of 24 aircraft there has been a significant slowdown in the transfer of CRJ700s from Envoy to PSA.

In 2015 there will be 5 less transferred than originally scheduled
In 2016 there will be 11 less aircraft transferred than originally scheduled
In 2017 there will be 13 more transferred than originally scheduled

From November 2015 till August 2016 there will be no transfers of CRJ700 aircraft from Envoy to PSA, but they are scheduled to resume in Sept 2016.

Again this is based on PSA continuing to be able to Staff all of their flying. I've seen it mentioned on here a couple of times but what really counts for new hires isn't the number that are showing up for class, but how many are actually completing training. You could have a 100 new hires every day starting class but if only 1 is able to successfully complete training it is only 1 additional pilot.

It sounds like PSA's classes are 25-30 people every two weeks. But it also appears that the pass rate is around 80% (20-24).

Even though Envoy is losing the CRJ is the long term in the short term they will have to begin upgrades soon.
Jdflyer1999 is correct. The original transfer schedule is slowed down. That's overall good for Envoy. Plan on keeping about 30 CRJ-700's at Envoy while we take delivery of the E-175's. On a side note FAA has informed there wont be any more Aspen program operators. Only CR7 & Q400 are qualified planes & currently only skw & Envoy that operates those routes. Not sure if AAG ever wants to give that up that easy.

Are you saying you didn't say: ....unless Envoy is dissolved and no "successor" exists.

And AAG has announced Envoy is closing? They threatened it in December 2014 before the TA was signed, the same way they did to PSA, but that was only if the pilot group didn't agree.

I said that, but you are misinterpreting my point. The assertiion is that the protected pilot agreement is somehow essentially bulletproof. My point is it is not. It was not an arbitrated award like the 824 agreement (which listed a specific number of pilots), but bypassed an arbitral award as an agreement by the parties to resolve a contractual dispute. No Envoy, no contract, no protected pilot provisions. Your last point is also my assertion. Envoy ALPA and pilots have a history of knuckling under to threats like that.

You're wrong. You simply got a hike in the back. Check your source.

I apologize that the facts don't meet your narrative.
Of course he doesn't, that's old news.

Agreed, but I would replace "Envoy ALPA and" with "Regional." Not all but most.

Well neither is "essentially bulletproof." I'm not sure if it matters whether it's an arbitration awarded contractual flow or a grievance resolution awarded contractual flow. If Envoy were to disappear tomorrow, I'm sure that there would be many legal battles on both points.

Default PSA Transfer Update

Just got off the phone with a friend and got an update on the transfers of the Envoy CRJ700s to PSA.

Before each aircraft is transferred to PSA it will go through a heavy check and have wifi installed in MQT. This will take 30 days per aircraft.

So far only one has been transferred to PSA (30 May flight). I thought it was 2 but he said 1.

1 is halfway though it's checks, delivery is expected on 15th of June.
1 arrived yesterday will be delivered around 30st of June.
1 is arriving tomorrow and will be delivered around 1st of July.

The hanger is now full and the next aircraft after that are expected to arrive ~18th of June. Followed by two more the first week of July.

So for May Envoy has sent 1 of 1.
June is expected to send 2 of 3.
July will send 2-3 of 3.
