Unless the merge with envoy is a non owned aag carrier refreshing the flow all owned carriers of aag have a flow of one kind or another. So to threaten envoy pilots to capitulate on the flow restrictions for the merge is far fetched. But it can be used for a merge with a non owned carrier. Again but, why would parker care, he has a flow and you go when it's time. Aag don't care if there is a fence on the flow it's bodies he wants.

Eaglfly is a delisuanal and bitter old man. I wish people would stop quoting him. Are the conspiracy theories he comes up with possible? Absolutely. Anything is possible if the motive and desire are there. I don't think it is in AAG's best intention to try and break a court order (824) or a settlement award (PP agreement). Literally the only reason why new hires are coming here is because of both the flow to AA and the movement the flow will create. Why would AAG want to stop that? It really is as simple as that. Coming up with these crazy merger conspiracy theories is both comical and sad. Eaglefly won't be happy until every regional has failed. Hate to break it to you dbag, it's not happening any time soon. Not saying I agree with it, but it's the world we live in.

Shouldn't every pilot's dream be for the regionals to fail?

Again, I didn't say I agree with the business model, but I'm pretty sure nobody wants their current company to go belly up. Let's not live in fantasy land, where the second envoy fails, AA says to me "come on over, we've been waiting for you!"

Ah, the 824 wasn't issued by a court, it was an arbitration. You don't even know the differences in the principle issues you speak of just like some of your water-carrier chums. Yes, AAG/Envoy will honor the 824 award. After that, a new plan and paradigm will be necessary. I sad you don't see that, but as someone with both Stockholm Syndrome and Battered-wife Syndrome, it's not surprising you are blind to the unpleasant possibilities which have significant likelihood.

I think you are in for a very painful wake-up call.

What separates the winners from the losers is how a person reacts to each new twist of fate.

Let's all understand this: the flows were not set up to ensure that AA has enough pilots to fill mainline cockpits nor were they offered as a reward to Parker's wholly-owned regional pilots. Get that!!

If Parker had decided that he didn't want to pluck pilots from his own regionals he would *STILL* have more than enough qualified applicants to fill his mainline seats coming from XJT, SKYW, RAH, Endeavor, Mesa, Horizon, Compass, TSA, GoJet, Wisconsin, Commutair, Lakes, Silver, Spirit, JetBlue, Virgin Am., Frontier, Allegiant, Sun Country, Miami Air, as well as a plethora of 135, cargo, and corporate outfits.

The flow is not some benevolent offering to reward his wholly-owned regional pilots for their patience and loyalty. No, the flows were designed to take those $100+/hour, 15 year RJ and Dash captains, move them over to mainline (where they'll only make $65/hour) and replace them with 3 year RJ and Dash captains who only make $70/hour. And when Parker has maximized his cost savings with lower-longevity RJ captains and F.O.s the flows will slow to a trickle, as is evident by the constantly decreasing flow schedule in the Envoy and PDT contracts as well as AAG's refusal to increase the 4/month "flow" at PSA.

It's not about mainline staffing or "throwing a bone" to the regional guys. It's all about the M.O.N.E.Y.!

I think you're 97% correct... But how are they going to decrease the flows from ENY and PDT? They are locked in. PSA is the one out in the cold
