Anyone touting a regional flying 190s has lost their minds. That's a mainline-sized aircraft and should remain that way. So are the 50+ seat jets at all the regional carriers but that is another story altogether.

Yep. I'm with you on this. I'm not even comfortable with 175's at our level, but it's that or, according to management, be out of a job.

I was not touting 190's, but saying that it may be handed down to Piedvoy someday in the future due to an APA vote. Or not. I think Envoy will be relatively secure in the chaos of the pilot shortage

I agree. In an extreme scenario, if the Major Airlines are forced ( I say forced because I don't think they will give up their Cheap Regional Feed Model easily ) to bring all flying inhouse, I can guarantee you that they will absorb the flowing wholly owned carriers first. Just another reason that envoy is in my opinion a better choice than non wholly owned carriers. No one can fully predict how the pilot shortage will fully pan out. There will definitely be winners and losers. To me, it just makes better business sense that whatever initiatives that the mainline CEO take, it will be applied at the WOs first.

Admit what? I have never denied that I am "SELLING" envoy. I sell the company, not because I think it is good for me or out of some nefarious motives. I really believe that it is a good move. I believe that Parker will make the flow work and will ensure that envoy succeeds in a very volatile regional market.

What are your motives for envoy being bad no matter what? I don't know that happened to you to make you so hateful and negative but what ever it was, they must have really gotten to you. I can't imagine ever letting a company effect me on such an emotional level.

I'm just still trying to figure out how someone that has gone to American after flowing is so interested in the Regionals! Maybe it was a bad break up and he just can't let go. Maybe everyone needs that healing time.
