New Envoy Information
#1081
Hear hear. After 3+ years of beat downs I was beginning to feel optimistic about this place and was drinking the Kool aid. I wanted to wait it out here for a call from a legacy, pass on going to an LCC and use the flow as a backup. But, with these awful schedules and with no sign of better schedules, better QOL, or better pay and them messing with flow, I may be seriously looking at a move to an LCC. Unless something drastically changes soon. March was supposed to be the month when the schedules were supposed to start improving. Guess we'll see.
Not sure how that is. In dfw the EMJ didn't really lose anything but SJT to Expressjet. Maybe its just the fact that the E75 is now live that there is not as much work in dfw.

Below is information on the next Allegiant meet and greet with the chief pilots. If you are interested in escaping Envoy, you can absolutely get an interview and get hired by attending one of these meet and greets. I did and it was absolutely worth it. Job offer in hand now, I gave notice to Envoy this week.
Some say that Allegiant isn't a great place to work. It definitely has issues and you can see those on the Allegiant forum. However, first year pay is equal to top out FO pay at Envoy. Second year FO is $70/hour. Upgrade can be around a year if you don't mind bidding the 80.
At least it's a better place to hang out and wait for your legacy of choice to call if that's your cup of tea. I also highly suggest the job fairs that are put on by Aero Crew for Frontier and Spirit. Jetblue is continuing to hire big numbers this year and Virgin is hiring in smaller numbers.
There are opportunities to escape Envoy. You just have to put your mind to it and decide to get out of there. For those who aren't considering a career at Allegiant, consider it a stepping stone if you will. It's certainly a step up from Envoy while waiting around for a non existent flow.

I will say that I have as good or better chance than someone hired after 2006 at Envoy. 2006 Envoy hires will likely not flow until 2020 with the current situation. I hope that you are prepared for many years at Envoy if you are relying solely on the flow.
