It might be 'cause of the holidays: you pick the lines that will allow to spend holidays at home, then if you can't hold those lines you pick the RSV lines that will allow you to get those days off.

Good morning,
Do new hires get to choose whether they want to go to ORD or DFW?
What's the deal with the negotiations about satellite bases? Does it seem like Envoy could return to its former glory and span the majority of the AA network lol?

12 year CAs headed back to reserve flying all throughout the system next month! FANTASTIC! Just remember 2.5 and 5! or 6! or 16! or what the eff ever! Don't forget the overwhelming majority of 72 hour non-commutable 11 day off lines also!
The tide is turning!
IT'S A GREAT TIME TO BE AT ENVOY!

Our 2.5 year upgrade, 6 year flow to AA and new 175's coming online make us the undisputed choice for anyone looking at a 121 job. I've even heard some LCC guys were considering jumping back to Envoy because of the strong flow we have and relationship with AA.

You bid for your base/equipment on day one of Indoc. We are currently in negotiations for a MIA satellite base. This will be a great benefit to our pilots that live in the MIA area. As for Envoy returning as carrier of choice for AA. It's already happening. AA continues to reward us for our professionalism and performance. You may even see the Seven Fives (175's) in ASE as we are the only wholly owned capable of flying in there.

cujo 664 is a liar. 1. most miami pilots are gone, moved or flowed. it is a management excuse to get something to correc t there screw up from closing envoy miami base. 2. yes envoy is authorized to fly into ase, the e175 does not have the performance for this so it will never go there. 3. we are not getting block hours back, our schedules still stink. we are swapping out block hours is what is going on. 4. oh yes, the guys that left envoy for southwest and jet blue are wanting to come back to envoy at the bottom of the list so they can flow to AA because. if that was true, i would go to PDT, i would flow years ahead of a newhire at envoy.
