I find it interesting you see my posts as definitive as I have never claimed any certainties other then the folly and unlikeliness of the certainties by the sales team. I find it interesting you find the motives and methods of your chums UNintetesting.
Actually, that isn't all that interesting, it's predictable.

Here we grow again!
Envoy team –
As American Airlines CEO Doug Parker reiterated just last week in an employee meeting, the key to success in our industry is providing safe and reliable regional feed to American at a competitive cost.
Due to everyone’s hard work and Envoy’s terrific operating performance recently, I’m excited to share proof of that statement – as American has just added five additional aircraft to Envoy’s fleet, starting in May.
Work is already underway to reactivate three Embraer 140 (E140) that have been parked, in order to have them ready to begin flying the May schedule and beyond. Additionally, American will return two of the 16 Embraer 145 (E145) aircraft that are currently being operated by ExpressJet to Envoy, to ensure reliable support for the summer schedule.
The return of these five aircraft, in addition to the new Embraer 175 (E175) aircraft we continue to receive each month, sets Envoy on a positive and exciting path forward. After starting the year with 137 aircraft in our fleet, we’ll be up to 150 by June.
All of these incremental aircraft are a vote of confidence in Envoy’s ability to deliver a safe and reliable product for American’s customers – and a testament to our team’s accomplishments. More aircraft also mean more jobs – as we continue to hire more than 300 Pilots and 400 Flight Attendants this year, we’ll also be adding Mechanics and other ground employees. And if we continue to perform as successfully as we have been operating, I’m confident that we’ll continue to see more opportunities in the future.
None of this could be possible without the outstanding team we have at Envoy. From the front lines to the back office, our employees are absolutely committed to the future of this company, and I am so proud of what we have achieved – and will continue to achieve – together.

I do find their post uninteresting. It's completely expected that someone in recruiting would push Envoy. It's also expected that pilots at Envoy could be optimistic. What is sad, unexpected, and "interesting" is that a middle aged man would be so obsessed with an airline he never went to. You have this obsessive compulsive disorder that drives you to try to convince people the flow won't work. It's this childish behavior that shines through when your response comes down to "it's a free country I can post wherever I want" that I find so unbelievable. You are a sad old man that desperately needs to get a life.

Nothing wrong with optimism IMO, as long as its grounded in factual reality instead of myopic fantasy. The latter is usually embraced by those in denial. I wish I could find this post more interesting, but it's not. It's simply the parroting of the same thing I've heard from the same sources repeatedly and sources with agendas of self-advancement at the expense of others. Hey, if you're giddy with joy there, great, but many of your compadres are not. That means your bliss there isn't the only perception of what some are doing here to the detriment of the profession and others opinions and rebuttals are just as valid.
But, yet again we find ourselves in the inexplicable situation of you having the power to remove the annoyance of sad, old men with personality disorders, yet inexplicably, you reject solving your own problem. It seems that's a trait among many present day Envoy pilots, that being solving their problems and not blaming others.
Godspeed, son.

I'm a "sad old man" who is concurrently childish (?) and also mentally ill ? Gee...........what else is new from one of the usual suspects.

I'm wise enough to know you wouldn't listen to it anyway as you seem too far gone. We both know you ENJOY my posts as it gives you a punching bag to relieve the latent frustrations about Envoy that you deny on a superficial level, but others might want all POV's available and why should you speak for them ?
In fact, why do you even talk to sad, old mentally ill men like myself ?
If my opinions were truly meaningless, you wouldn't even acknowledge them, yet you do. Interesting.

I hate to state the obvious, but getting beyond the regionals is the goal of pretty much every pilot here. The over arching topic is based on the fastest way to a major. It took you two decades to get there. Pretty sure people don't need the POV of a bitter old man that's still butt hurt.

Ohhhh, the humanity.

Most still believe the fastest way to a major is 121 PIC as it's something that isn't intangible like a theoretical future flow slot or something that can be taken away or changed. Envoy is at the back of the pack in that respect, like it or not.
...and once again, it's all about me with you guys, not the issue(s).

Yes, "butt hurt" @ $185K/year with over 7 figures in retirement investments.
Ohhhh, the humanity.

It certainly would help explain his focus on people instead of topics and issues.
