They just saved bending us over for several years later.
One could aptly argue using the same medical standards of certainty Dr. Ryan is using that some of the pilots who did do a psych evaluation at Eagle post 9/11 must have cheated.

Hey, I don't care and have no problem admitting it. I know AA won't hire me OTS. Not a military pilot, or CP or a Female, or a Fleet manager, or a recruiter, or an *** kisser, or a son of a special case. Good thing for the flow or I would probably never get a job at AA in a domicile I want, despite thousands of hours of PIC. That is kinda the whole point of why we like the flow and tell people its a good thing to have in your back pocket. For when the reality of hiring practices at a Legacy sets in.

Myself along with hundreds of other Captains here can't get a (Legacy) interview despite checking all the boxes, multiple type ratings, perfect training records, volunteering, good GPA's, way more flight time and experience than these quick upgrade chasers, stacks of internal recs, and playing all the job fair games to boot. HR is in control of hiring these days. Turbine PIC isn't as important as "other" things now. Better hope you can appease whatever some 23 year old Human Resource major pulling apps who knows zip about aviation thinks, and hope your Airline Apps algorithm calculation triggers the right parameters to not be rejected outright. Oops, took 5 years to get your degree? Too bad for you. No chance to explain. Longer than 10 years at a regional? Untrainable, and Unacceptable. Non Tier 1 candidate. No chance to explain. NEXT.

The people chasing PIC time haven't realized it yet that the magic 1,000 TPIC isn't the golden ticket to the big 3 like they were told it was. I'd take the flow any day over waiting for that phone call that likely may never happen.

You are right, I forgot about that. I did all that too. Hated that eyeball puffer thing the most.

Carl Smith and the Hershey Kiss hair collector guy certainly fell through the cracks. Although I hear Carl was sent packing for something.

Now you can be a complete nut job and get hired though. No questions asked.

That's because you mix things into to what I say that aren't there. I never referenced whether AA is good or bad in responding to the claim I was "butt hurt". I simply used it as a reference to dispute the claim itself. It's better then the guy who is apparently obsessed about my butt, but inferior to those at Delta.

The answer to that question is different for every pilot. For some, it is where they can advance their quals faster, for others, it's QWL (like not commuting by air) and still others, long term crapshoots like the AA WO's flows. All things being equal, I would weight the more tangible factors over the more theoretical ones. It's odd you would ask me this because I'm repeatedly told my advice is worthless, what being a bitter old man with an ax to grind and a psychopath as well.

I was referring to you as the resident nut job. Not the psychopath BTW. Lol

You're in good shape then. If a psychopath like me can succeed at AA, someone of your obvious integrity and stability...........well, the sky's the limit.

Really ?

I read both descriptions in a single response that appeared to solely describe me. If I'm not the psychopath, who is and while were at it, could you quantify the difference between the two diagnosis, Doctor ?

Yeah I wouldn't say psychopath. Twisted and lonely? Probably. Ax to grind? Without a doubt.

You seem to care way too much about what regional pilots on APC think of you, which I don't understand. Hence why you feel the need to respond to everyone's post.

You should hear my perceptions of you.

VERY few concern themselves with me aside from about a half dozen or so at Envoy. You seem to care WAY too much about me, which I don't understand, hence why you feel the need to constantly engage me. If you and your pals didn't do that, I'd have 1/4 of the posts in this partition then I do now. But then of course,............you'd have far less to complain about and we know that doesn't work for you.

Some people turn the other cheek. Some people don't constantly have to have the last word. But that's just my opinion.
