Yes, "butt hurt" @ $185K/year with over 7 figures in retirement investments.
Ohhhh, the humanity.
Most still believe the fastest way to a major is 121 PIC as it's something that isn't intangible like a theoretical future flow slot or something that can be taken away or changed. Envoy is at the back of the pack in that respect, like it or not.
...and once again, it's all about me with you guys, not the issue(s).

Plus flowing to AA provides enough free time and days off to off to post thousands and thousands of derogatory Envoy comments. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to flow over there with no interview.

Well, you'll have to add 9 years to the 6 year flow to hit that pay @ AA or 15 YEARS total. By comparison, what's a 2014 hire at Delta making who can hold MD88 captain at LGA ?
Last I heard with profit sharing which doesn't exist at AA, it was $230K and the rest of their CBA is FAR better then ours in the critical areas. Considering 121 PIC is the pathway to Delta and most others, what would you do if you were most pilots ?
Yup, apparently what most other pilots ARE doing, chasing fast upgrades, while Envoy pilots hope and pray for perpetual blue skies and tailwinds to get them a Bronze medal at AA vs. a Gold at Delta.
Pucker up, buttercup, because it looks like a long way to tipperary via Envoy Blvd.

You could apparently also be a complete raving nut job or a psychopath and still flow, there is no flowthrough psych eval to weed out the mentally deranged like DAL and UAL have in place.

Don't worry, whenever you do get to AA, I will welcome you with open arms as a fellow pilot who is too much of a loser to get hired anywhere else.

So where would you recommend a new pilot go to? Clearly you think PIC is the pathway to delta and United so I'm curious as to where you would recommend a new hire go to, since apparently you have no confidence in a pilot getting pic at envoy and you also seem to believe an envoy pilot can't get on with United or delta and instead must wait around for a flow.

There was a basic psych eval for those of us hired pre-9/11. As well as the majority of the astronaut physical. X-rays, cog tests, hearing, computerized psych. All the good stuff. The merged Eagles did not have to deal with it, only the people hired by AMR directly to Eagle. The only thing we didn't have to do was get the butt poke like a few years before.
They just saved bending us over for several years later.

If it's really true that someone is a "psychopath" (apparently solely based on your background in psychiatry and sight unseen, to boot), why is it not very nice to refer to them as such ? I don't understand your logic.
