I'm Dumb ?
Dude, the term is BLARED !
Why don't you go back to EL. Obviously, you're out of your league here.

I sure did see your "date". That's why I termed you a "new POSTER" (a half dozen posts in two years) and not a new member. Perhaps it's YOU that is the dumb one as you can't even decipher my statements ?

So ya bla bla bla. Just wanted everyone to know you aren't associated with envoy and any info you have is no more than any other non envoy employee. Bye

My honest answer is that it depends on the pilot and what's important to them and how they rank the value of various risks. Republic is in BK, but in all likelihood they have assets and market share that is valuable, not to mention aircraft. It appears Delta is protecting that from the advances of others, especially AAG and so pilots there won't likely lose their jobs (especially with a pilot shortage). Advancement is a wildcard and that cannot be predicted. If I were a pilot already there, I wouldn't leave just yet (laterally) as that show hasn't played out enough to warrant the risk of starting over at another regional.
Envoy has definite benefits in a flow-thru that DOES exist, but the timing will be unpredictable. Envoy also has a transitional problem in that it appears they will have serious difficulty going forward without gradual contraction. But, I wouldn't leave Envoy laterally just yet either for a theoretically faster upgrade. Commuting is a BIG deal and if I lived in or was within driving distance to either of the two carriers domiciles, that would be a major factor as I believe uprooting one's life for any regional carrier considering their fickle existence (which is sure to get worse) to be a major stressor. No easy answer to that question though. Personally, I think most pilots are predisposed to go in certain directions and it would take something significant to alter their primary target when it comes to regionals they are considering.
I don't know if this answer has much value for you, but it's the best I've got and just my opinion. Any choice made could be a boom or a bust and what looks good today can fall apart tomorrow.

[QUOTE=eaglefly;2098556]Sorry I missed it. I was too busy throwing sticks to a clumsy young pooch.
Lol. I got bored because you can't keep up.
And that last post was such terrible advice I wouldn't call it advice. You were asked a question And You stated what everyone knows.?
As usual. Nothing new.

There obviously is no moderating on this board with the perpetual flaming and trolling from two or three who admit they don't even work here. Just stop quoting them or engaging them. Without an audience they'll eventually go away.
You don't see former Mesa, or RAH pilots coming back to these threads with non-stop bashing everything about their former airline. Yet these sad pathetic trolls are tolerated by the MODS in the Envoy threads.
Just stop quoting them so the rest of us don't have to read their dribble; then put them on ignore.

I would argue that the "perpetual flaming and trolling" is directed AT myself (and others), not COMING from at least myself. In reviewing yesterday's latest dust up here, I simply questioned and disagreed with a new members philosophy that it is acceptable for "fake posters" (TOS violation ?) and "cheerleading" to occur to JUST get people in the door at Envoy with no scrutiny as to the representations to do that. He doesn't even work here.........well, considering his philosophies and the history, he very well might, but I digress........In every post after that, I couldn't find one where I was "bashing" Envoy per se, it was virtually ALL self-defense rebuttal to flamers and trolls targeting me from the usual crowd with a new addition who even freely admitted to engaging me over on EL, solely for the purpose of flaming and trolling ! I guess blatant admissions like that and the subsequent action of doing that are acceptable because its from a sympathetic source ? In fact, in one post I disagreed with another that Envoy was a "sweatshop" and still another a question was asked of me that demonstrated I don't think pilots should leave Envoy laterally just to chase upgrades.
It seems now once again, a member of the core group at Envoy in addition to misrepresenting what I say (non-stop bashing of their former airline and a product of erroneous emotional perception and not reality), is attempting to goad the moderators into censoring non-Envoy pilots off of Envoy threads or even the forum as if only flamers and trolls can be non-Envoy pilots on Envoy threads. If we stop the personal attacks and discuss the issues, I think most of this nonsense would stop. Even respectful disagreement can occur. That's how it SHOULD work. Since selective censorship is being advocated here, then another option would be to remove the conflict and ban any more Envoy threads. I don't think that's the right tack, but if selective censorship is acceptable to some, it's worthy of consideration. I have no problem with the mods putting Envoy thread participants on close watch to ensure no violations of TOS occur like personal attack, name calling, outing, etc. Perhaps it's time ? Providing factual information, reasonable discussion and even respectful disagreement without all the emotion is the goal and I totally support that, while demographics of the member or even number and length of posts shouldn't really have any bearing on the topic or issue, nor be the foundation for attack.
