New Envoy Information
The fraud speaks! What would you know about anything other than conning people?
I came from Mesa. Now I'm at Envoy and my life has improved tremendously. It's not even a close comparison and my only regret is that I didn't leave Mesa for Envoy sooner.
I'm seriously baffled by some of this crap I read on this forum...then I'm reminded that most of it, like Skyvector said comes from people who don't work at Envoy and possibly never have. Like you. That would explain it.
Bottom line is that life is good for me at Envoy. I have many friends from Mesa who are also looking at making the jump and there are more coming from places like Republic. I am friends with a recruiter at Envoy and he tells me the applications have increased "five fold" in the past 2 weeks. His words, not mine.
No Regional is perfect...and having worked at Mesa I can tell you they missed that mark by a country mile. But Envoy is by far the best company I have worked at so far. Period. And I say this as someone who only got the $5,000 bonus as I was hired prior to the recent increase in which I would have received $15,000.
But it doesn't matter. I'm not looking at small short term gains. And I also know that anybody who still believes 1,000 hours PIC is the golden ticket to a major is an idiot who needs to get with the program. This is a long game, and now I'm part of the largest airline in the world with a no interview flow. I'm part of one of their wholly owned companies with the structure to match. I actually feel like I work for a real airline now compared to the frat house crap that was Mesa.
So all you big mouths who don't work at Envoy who just want to talk smack can rest assured your opinions mean squat. Especially from the fraud that is AG386 or whatever he calls himself these days...he has about 6 different screen names by last count and lied about ever working at Envoy in the first place.

I myself am a former "Air Scuttle" pilot. I do agree Mesa is worse than Envoy. However, what I also understand is I've been at Envoy going on 9 years. My observations over the years show that Envoy about to turn the corner of JO's wonder-world Rock and Roll emporium. Seriously, the guy is something else. I sometimes wonder if DP got his DWIs after leaving JO's nightclubs. His idea of employee Christmas party has go-go dancers, lots of booze, while their pilots scrape by each month. BTW, I remember getting the "Christmas Card". I remember some Mesa pilots doing some questionable things with that card. (It's a family picture, for those who don't know.)
Constant contract violations, lack of communication to schedulers for trades, swaps, drops. Denied pvds. The list goes on. The only thing that sets us slightly higher is the pay and iPads.

I'm at a loss for words, finally. The stupidity and juvenile behavior here over the last week is completely mind boggling. I'd use stronger language, but the mods have seen fit to penalize profanity yet permit domineering psychopathy.
I don't claim to have clean hands, I've slung my darts, but holy ***k you people take the cake. There's no doubt that regardless of who the other players are there are only a *very* few participants the problems continually revolve around. It's an embarrassment and stifles fair discussion.

Cool, but have you guys gone paperless on the line yet? Or do you still have to carry your kit bags in addition to the iPad? It took us about 4 months from start of tablet issuance to finally going paperless here at XE.

We are transitioning to mostly paperless. iPad mounts are being installed in the cockpit right now. We are also getting QRH's installed in the aircraft. I'm not 100% on what will be left for us manual-wise at the end of it all, but our current iPad setup already has everything in it. Checklists, MEL, manuals, Jepps, performance manuals. It's all in there.

The only people that have to continue carrying paper are those who aren't in the voluntary iPad program. I see very few people anymore that carry paper over the last year or so. Maybe 1 in 10?
The rest of us just will have to carry both iPads for another month or so. Stupid, but it is what it is.

We dropped paper years ago. Or atleast people had the option to drop paper. Now the company is providing ipads and ram mounts. Coming in a couple weeks all we need to bring is check list ipad and the paper WB if computers fail.

Honest to god, I will try to reach you on a serious level too and not be combative, but disagreement is not combat.
We get what eaglefly's point is. He speculates-his opinion-that Envoy's flow will stop in the future for reasons A and B. Ok, got it. He made that point over and over about 2,000 posts ago.
The fact that he keeps hammering away daily is a problem. The fact that he doesn't work at Envoy is an even bigger problem. And the fact that his continued beating of a dead horse causes every single thread go kaput is the biggest problem of all. And where are the Mods in all of this? Nowhere to be seen.

Before you play the victim card again, eaglefly...you are entitled to your opinion. It's just that you have already made it. Another 5,000 posts from you working people up is not required. Another 5,000 posts of you passing your opinion off as facts is really off base....and seeing as how you DO NOT work at Envoy it would be prudent for you to back off. I would never dream of going to another airline's thread I don't work for and pulling half the stunts you do with Envoy. And the same goes for your gang of ag386, sayalt, and others who don't work here.
Don't try to manipulate this situation as you always do by claiming it is Envoy pilots who try to pass opinion off as facts. That is your signature manipulative move and it's rotten. If an Envoy pilots presents the flow numbers as they exist, that is a fact. If you don't like the numbers, it doesn't make them less true. If an Envoy pilot can look ahead and count how many pilots are above him and use basic calculations to predict when he will be at AA, those are facts based on the current reality. Again, just because you don't like it doesn't make it less true.
But I digress. This is my one and only attempt to reach eagefly on a serious level. It's probably a complete waste of time. An even bigger waste of time would be asking the Mods to do anything about it. I'm starting to believe that whomever runs the Regional board is part of the group who has it out for Envoy. There is no other explanation for letting this nonsense go on.
In the interest of diffusing the situation, why don't we ALL simply avoid discussion of projections and assumptions regarding upgrade and flow as it seems to be the basis for conflict which some simply cannot tolerate ? Hard information that is undisputed and has already occurred should be no problem as who can argue with that ?
I'm trying my best to minimize conflict, but I cannot agree that some members demanding others be "run off the forum" like that advocated at EL occur here. It simply isn't fair.
