I've heard this statement a lot but I have to disagree 100%. Pedro is the President and CEO of Envoy Air. To say his hands are tied is a compete cop-out. He is responsible for the health of the company and the health of the company is dependent on a multitude of factors, many of which AAG has no hand in. No, it's on him. They won't even negotiate a EFB LOA, which is a zero cost item. This is a perfect indication of the lack of respect management has for it's pilots. You can forget about negotiating anything of value such as changes to our draconian reserve rules or the daily treatment of pilots by crew schedulers. Whether the fault lies with Jane Easton or Ric Wilson, both report to Pedro. Bottom line, it's on him. He needs to go.

The CEO sets the tone of a corporation. He gives marching orders and then follows up to see how his men act on those orders. Something tells me though that the CEO of a wholly owned does have his hands tied and has no abilities to demote people below him. Those involved in our flight department seem to enjoy tinkering and toying with items that directly relate to our QOL. Their short term strategy to make themselves look better has consisted of artificially introducing metrics to all things that relate to staffing. This has us howling here and does a huge disservice to pilot recruitment as todays pilots are savvy. They are choosing airlines that appear to have the quickest route to a better QOL and pay. Its hard to deny that our QOL is in the crapper as a result of the artificial metrics that flight and scheduling has put on our schedules.
If they want more bodies here they would be smart to find out what those bodies are looking for(QOL and pay) and abandon the guessing game they've played(they want the flow..no they want bonuses...no they want the 175!).

Listening to conference call, thought Dic Wilson was talking, then I realized it was Sam. According to Sam we should stop *****ing on this site, and the company is trying its best. The NC guy slammed the company and Sam said I don't think that is necessarily true, the company trust us but hands are tied. Sam is currently under Dics desk. Sam is a joke.
If anyone had excitement about the pay proposal, the company said thanks, but not needed now. FO SIDE on pay is one of the lowest paid in industry, we made bottom three, PSA, PDT, ENY. Are lowest paid in the industry. WHY WOULD A NEW HIRE COME TO ENVOY, we suck.
Currently hiring nobody, attrition is very high
Sam just bumped his head under Dics desk
Sam says we should not tell people how bad it is to work here
Mesa is fine in Dfw, may shrink a tad due to more west flying, but not leaving
This site makes Dic mad. According to Sammy
Crj not going anywhere
Reason hims was cancelled is cost. last year company missed a required test and got fined. Doesn't benefit enough people.

PSA and PDT are flowing faster then we are
Sam tried to knock new hires making choices on where they get based, AC choice, and pay. Caller called in very quickly and schooled him on why new hires are making those choices.
AAG trying to keep republic flying the planes
Doesn't seem like we're getting planes from republic bk
And Sam has reported that AAG has fat heads.
Ric doesn't really negotiate, just dictates
Conference basically said what we have is what we get until new hires demand more. Hopefully soon, since the older generation at the regionals now, likes concession, these new hires need to help them out

As there are more options on the table, envoy has to fix first year pay. I really would like to be at envoy but at the same time travel benefits don't pay the bills. Trying to get an idea if pay will ever be raised.

From: Qualified to carry liquids through security.
Totally understandable and reasonable. Sam said AAG is slowly starting to realize this and we MAY see enhancements by mid to late fall. Key word, may.

Why do people already on property always say fix first year pay. Ok I fixed it, now the rest of our pay sucks. Why not, we need to fix pay at envoy
