The 175 makes up a very small percentage of the fleet. Sooner or later you are going to have to stop circumventing the rules of seniority and stop screwing over our senior FOs - they will bid the 175 and close the hiring door. That or the union will keep being a bunch of weenies and allow you to continue hiring only to the 175, but even then, you can only take so many onto that plane because all of your flows and senior FOs getting ****ed and leaving are coming from the 145.
Not to worry, I'm sure the union will help you find a way to sucker in new hires while still hosing the senior people.

You quoted me. You've lumped me into your conspiratorial groups on many occasions. Don't try to squirm out from under what you said, your point was obvious. As usual, you really don't answer the question, just more dodging and finger pointing.
By the way, there's a new hire class today. I don't know any numbers, though.

Nope but they just walk out once they find out they can't have the shiny 175, unless you bribe them with more money. All the while, our union bends over and allows it all.

The list will balance itself eventually, once the 175 FOs are stuck there until 2016 hires start upgrading. It's just a cycle...

By then the guys in the 175 will be *****ing about it, same way the guys in the 145/CRJ are doing these days.
