I just skimmed over the info on the other sites and they made up the displacement suggestion on their own... It goes like this:

2) But where will they get the pilots?
3) They will have to displace pilots (says some dude who pulled this out of his @zz)
4) OMG! Displacements!
5) Eaglefly drags manufactured rumor over to APC: OMG! ENY Sucks! You're all idiots! Cheerleaders! Displacements likely on the horizon!

That's one interpretation. Considering the source, it's a predictable one. Yes, at this point it is rumor though, hence the term used. But it's funny (and revealing) you criticize me for embellishing info from there and misrepresenting it here and then do the Exact same thing with your #5. I didn't say "Envoy sucks", etc., that's just your spin (and you looooove to spin, don't you ). What's more telling though is 2), "But where will they get the pilots ?".

Seems many there see the forest through the trees (even the diseased ones thrown up here by the usual suspects to deflect reality) and know all too well Envoy is in serious trouble. Of course, if Wiki is correct, maybe not as it will need 900 less pilots in a few years. Anyhoo, thanks for the chuckle, even if it was predictable.

I engaged in sarcasm and hyperbole to make a point. It is a deliberate embellishment for effect. That is obvious. I did not cite an obviously made-up rumor on another forum as a basis for rumor-mongering with the inference that there might be some truth to it.

Anybody with access to those forums can easily verify the source of the rumor, however there are those here who cannot and your post is deliberately disingenuous, misleading those without access or the willingness to do some due diligence.

This has unfortunately been the case since last year. They have occasionally done the same for sick calls as well.

 

I thought I read something to the effect that they will allow travel home after a sick call once you make contact with your supervisor (don't remember about fatigue). IIRC, it was a union blast.

So now, not any more ?

Sad if true and THIS is the type of thing AAG doesn't own, but Envoy management who could change if they wanted to. It's also,the type of things that spreads among pilots directly and truly impacts recruitment as opposed to the banter on forums.
