Welcome to Envoy and to the ORD base. ORD (in my opinion) has the best crews. Whatever plane you get, I think you'll be happy. Also the staff at the office is very helpful. The flying is great and O'hare is a great airport to learn to fly around in an airline environment. Living in base rocks too. Don't listen to the negativity, come with a great attitude and you will be fine. The attitude on the line is way different. There's grouchy people but there's also very optimistic people.

Even with the 15 plus you are getting last month plus this month, you will still average hiring only 15 per month by year end. Your VP of ops plan calls for 35-40 new hires each and every month to get the 2.5/6 plan, which has been jettisoned from what I hear. Now he's calling it 3 years for upgrades. To address a couple points: The company is offering extra cash to take the CRJ or 145 now. The last class (before the one Monday) had no one walk out. I find it pretty ridiculous to offer $$ for that, but it's working (so far) so your assertion may have been true at one point but does not seem to be any more.

Your second point, that 2.5/6 has been jettisoned, if you have anything official on that, please tell us. The latest email from Ric did not include "2.5/6" but there has been at least one other email where it has been omitted, only for it to reappear in the next. Do I believe in that claim? Hell no, but what you're saying doesn't appear to be factual, unless there is something you know that the rest of the ENY pilots don't.

I guess my point is that things are obviously lousy at ENY, but spreading "I heard"s and things that that may have been true once but aren't any more sure make it seem like you have an axe to grind and are just lobbing grenades for the fun of it instead of contributing to any meaningful discussion. It's a free message board though, do what you feel.

Guys? We had one tool walk out after not getting the 175 months ago. Your "facts" are once again incorrect and just your attempt to make yourself feel better about going to Allegiant.

ag386 gave up flow and went to Allegiant. He desperately wants the flow to fail because it makes him feel like his decision to leave was not the horrible mistake he knows it was. Only someone who regrets a decision constantly looks back instead of forward.
Good luck getting hired at American off the street bud. I'm sure your application is going to wow them when you are one of 17500 apps they have on file.

I believe most guys that read this thread realize what these people are trying to do.

It's envoy perfect? No! Clearly he has a agenda going on. You can see him/her spreading the same tone in the PDT forums about how he think the flow will stop.

If they (AAG) decide to stop the flow, this company/PDT/PSA will explode. So they either up their game or will get screwed. We can see they haven't done anything this summer because of the Letter T pilots at AA. But once the flows (every WO flow) keep getting in the door, somethings NEED TO CHANGE. It's just a matter of time, and what better time than fall, when there's a reduction of flying? If they don't do anything by the end of the year, their feed will collapse either thru flow or attrition to other places.

As simple as that, so ignore AG#whatever and don't feed him. Let him have his fun at Allegiant...he should be happy about the possible payraises and not what happens at envoy.

Hey ag386...want to chime in? Tell everyone about your termination hearing. Tell everyone how you bawled your eyes out in the Chief Pilot's office.

Better yet, tell everyone how you spent the next 2 weeks calling everyone and anyone in ALPA who would take your call, begging them to get your job at Envoy back.

I've seen sour grapes before, but you take the gold prize. You have no one to blame for your termination but yourself. Move on, kid.

In the spirit of moving on, 11 started class today. Congrats to all. That's 22 for the month.
