I am in the pipeline and just got hired for class in January. I am stoked! The reasons I picked the Envoy pipeline are almost too many to list.

First, I'll upgrade in 2 1/2 years and flow to AA in 6. With just that, why would anybody go to another regional? Essentially my interview was a one time shot that puts me in an AA cockpit in 6 years! It was discussed that it was my AA interview at the time so does that make me an AA pilot from day one as others have mentioned when I start class?

In addition, Envoy has an industry leading contract and brand new E-175's already online. I'm hoping to get an E-175 class right out of the gate!

Envoy is #1!

I guess now is the time we are starting to see more guys from the CFI programs.
13 in class this week.

Give me a break guys! I'm just ready to get started. It's been a tough road getting to 1500 and instructing isn't easy as a lot of you know.

Question. If I don't get the 175, it seems I can expect the CRJ. DFW or ORD are both fine with me. Is reserve on the CRJ still running greater than the 2 years I've heard?

You've heard that CRJ reserve is 2+ years but you're gonna upgrade in 2.5 years?

That's what the recruiter told us during our pipeline program and it was also mentioned again at the job interview that everything was in motion for it to happen. Not to mention the numerous instances of it being mentioned on this site. I assume that you can get off the CRJ and move to other equipment and still upgrade as soon as it is available?

The flow was also mentioned during the interview that as new 175's come online, it will allow more Captains to flow to AA and create the spots for all of the upgrades. Regardless, I think Envoy is a solid and stable company and I'm really looking forward to getting started!
