Trip trade no idea, I have been on reserve pretty much since I started over 3 years ago. It is by choice, more nights at home for me.
I have a feeling reserve is going to get much worse over the next few months. This past year or two has been pretty much a cake walk on reserve but the past six weeks I have been getting killed. My only silver lining is that I'm actually starting to see some movement with almost 20 guys coming down to DFW over the next 5-6 weeks and more on the way after that.

But seriously this better be a pilot vote.
You know we already bowed down and gave them PBS. They can start to implement it, after I believe the 41st 175 is on property.

I thought we took like a pay hit if we didn't. I was under the impression it was under negotiation after the 40th 175, as a way to intice them to place 175s here. But I have no proof, just going off what's been discussed behind the bullet proof curtain.

This is correct, once the 41 st 175 comes on property the union and company start the talks about PBS again. It does go to a pilot vote for approval. If we vote it down we are on the hook for a determined amount (concessions ). How the company takes those concessions is still up for negotiating.

Yeah, it won't be like last year that is for sure. However, I can't stand 4 day trips so I'll roll the dice with reserve.

Good. I'd say it's safe to assume we can put up a good fight now vs. then.

The company gives out free pay bumps to help their recruitment problem. If they think taking concessions as punishment for telling them to pound sand on PBS is going to help with that same issue, they're delusional. It's a pilot's market right now, and it's only getting more so. I say vote no on it and call their bluff. They can try to punish us for it, but they'd only be shooting themselves in the foot in the long run.

I caution everyone not to publicly negotiate online about this. Talk to your reps.

Why so they can negotiate some RTDs that will never get approved?
