I specifically cover bingo fuel when I'm flying with a new hire on IOE, and upgrades as well. If new hires are lacking in basic skills, please at least call the training center union rep or pro standards. It's more important now than ever.

Setup of the fuel page, verification of fuel enroute, and contingency planning including bingo fuel calculation is BASIC stuff. Not to mention that anyone that calls themself a pilot should be able to figure it out on their own.
