Thanks, but I’ve always said yes to transition. But, this doesn’t seem to address what happens when you say no to transition...

If you select no they leave you on whatever carry over is on your schedule and then whatever they drop you don't get paid for.

Weird that the transition subject is here, as I just came on to ask a question regarding this very subject. Made me laugh.

I have read that passage in the new hire guide several times before and just read it again. Still not sure how it applies to my specific question, however.

My question involves going into recurrent. Since we are supposed to get a minimum of 11 days off per month, in what way does your "transition" choice effect your training month?

For example, if some of your training days are on your days off, and that in turn put you under 11 days off for the month, would selecting transition yes or no have an effect on pay or schedule?

They would have to drop days from your flying schedule to get you back to 11 days off since training days went into days off, correct?

Clear as mud.

With transition crew scheduling can only monkey with the last 3 days and the first 4 days of the month (or vice versa).

If you’re brought below 11 days that’s different, and you need to submit an RF 100 RTD form.

They won't touch your schedule other than give you 7D or D7 for 7 day conflicts. D7s count as days off that you can't get back 7Ds don't.

The past few payments haven't shown up until the day of or maybe the day prior.

Where exactly do you find who was selected to flow on every selection cycle? I've checked in Dept>Flight>Flow Through Information as well as on the alpa website but never seem to find it.
