Someone has got to pick up the slack in DCA when Trans States is gone. PSA is parking the 200’s for 900’s and those are overkill for a lot of markets, so it will come down to us or PDT flying those routes.

I’ve got recurrent training comming up. On my HI10, it shows one day coded as EG. The day after this EG and before the rest of training is not coded with anything... like it’s a day off. Last year I had two consecutive days coded as EG with no ‘blanks’ in the schedule. Is this a new thing or a mistake?
Just trying to make sure my bidding for conflicts going to work like I expect.

For what’s its worth our management did mention we were starting a little DCA flying next year but I don’t think it’s going to be that much. Probably just a couple of through flights.

Between the mainline base there, the Republic base there, the PSA base there, plus us and PDT doing fly through, I don’t see us opening a base there.
Markets like DCA-LAN don’t need a 700/900/175, so that will eliminate PSA and YX. PSA is also trading 200’s for 900’s next year so they will have fewer available for small markets. PDT could do some fly through, but if they are almost done taking our planes, then it would require a massive re-shuffle on their part. It seems like the schedule in DCA is large enough to warrant a base, and we have pretty easy rules about openeing and closing them now. I’m just saying that it’s possible. Nobody knows with AAG.

I don’t think the transition selection has anything to do with training schedule conflicts.
