You don't need a business degree to read either. Here is the Earnings Call Transcript . So here is your 101...

Additionally with the developments during the second quarter and continued progress we are making at ExpressJet, we believe we are finally getting that entity to a place for modest profitability in 2019. We will provide more information on that progress next quarter. We anticipate ExpressJet will be in all 50 seat operation by early next year. Wade will share more specifics on the total fleet in a minute.

I love how you both know what the shareholders are thinking. Be careful about insider trading..

Mesa has several shortfalls. But, being in IAH on the Ejet isn’t one of them (at least until June 2019 when the CPA starts expiring). It is a great group of pilots there and we are now seeing movement to United through its CPP program down to the 5 year seniority mark. Hopefully, that will drop further.

However, I would be at ExpressJet if the upgrades weren’t so long. It is the only reason I am not there.
Ok so if you haven't upgraded yet your still new to the game but post on the board like you are smarter then the CEO's.

They have been saying they will be profitable “next year” for that past 8 years...

And 20 E175’s will only benefit the top 200 pilots... and some lucky newhires... I really hope the best for XJT. But hanging on to hope is dragging out the pain. I’ve ran into several former XJT pilots including the former union president.. no ones looked back.. unless you are 55+. Even lateral moves are good deals out there.. even if that jumping to OO get soft landings $60.50 hr. From the start... (10 year experience credit.)

Which side? If it’s the ERJ, the last 2 went to UAL. So saying they haven’t looked back would be pretty dumb....

There is a theory in financial economics called the efficient market hypothesis, where an asset price fully reflects all available information at a given time. Shareholders can only go by what they have in front of them, which are loses and very ambitious forward looking statements. There is a bigger picture in play. It goes back to high labor costs. Why keep XJT around? To not hurt our feelings and keep our super senior labor group? It’s just business, they don’t need us. They can shift the remaining a/c to other carriers like they’ve been doing. CommutAIr has options for 60 145s last I checked.

I upgraded 6 months ago when the time to upgrade dropped from 24 months to new hire. I thought you were just slinging one of your notorious insults.

Latest rumor supposedly from training dept.... we’re getting 700s again. No idea if this is on top of 175s or in place of.

Pure hearsay I did not speak to training myself about this. Take this with a boulder of salt.

When is the award going to be posted? It closed on 11/1, I thought they had a week to post the results.

Maybe, that means the United pilot union and management are close to relief on 70 and 76 seaters. I know the union wants all the Ejets to be flown by United pilots. If that were to happen, that would be bad news for ExpressJet, Mesa, SkyWest and Republic.

I doubt United is going to cancel the 25 Ejets that are coming.
