I agree. OO is in it for their shareholders. Pilots are just a tool. I have always asked why OO would sell Xjet. It must be in their shareholders’ best interest.

But the decision of who to award the 25 Ejets is United’s.
That is correct and it is ending soon from what I gather and that holds true to my other statement that xjet doesnt have the resources to maintain the planes they have let alone another 25 of a new airframe.. OO is picking up the slack in a couple MX bases AND line stations..

You’re probably gonna have some free time to do that research in a few months.

You as well. Maybe you can search it from your game console. No?

So what do we all think is going to happen over the next 3 to 6 months? What's the play-by-play prediction?

ASA certainly doesn’t have the resources anymore. But XJT still does. They haven’t been decimated like ASA has over the last year.

And ASA is bringing quite a few very experienced LCAs and instructors over to the XJT side. And so many experienced captains that we’re having to fly them as FOs.

We have the know how and the infrastructure to drive strong growth. What we need is the news to kick hiring into high gear.

Is there a ASA side anymore? When is ASA no more and XJT is all that is left? I assume the news will be post holidays. If it is GoJet losing the 700’s, this will gut them.

This place is simply too too heavy. They really need to get the top of the list moving. Median CA longevity is 17 years, which is ridiculous. I think a flow is the only solution. Either that or send clear glasses to everyone for the next solar eclipse. With crappy regionals, people don’t want to stay so the list moves obviously.

They can go the Eagle route and close most bases and wait for everyone to quit. Or the Pinnacle route and BK this place and wait for senior people to quit,

The next total solar eclipse in the US is 2023. That still 5 years away.

I am surprised that 17 is your median CA longevity. Why haven’t they moved to United through the CPP?

Probably because the pass rate was so low.

No ASA pilot has been given any opportunity to participate.
