Day 1 — Corporate Orientation
Day 2-7 — Basic Indoc
Day 8 — CRM
From 9 onwards, you do a few days of systems, then a procedures training event. A few more days of systems then another procedure trainer event. Rinse and repeat until you reach procedure training event 4 and 5, which are back to back.
Now it’s KV and PV time, on separate days.
After that, it’s 5 simulators followed by your maneuvers validation.
Then it’s 3 simulators for your Initial Line-Oriented Training.
Then LOE, four days off and now it really begins.
Edit: I think it said 40 days or so of training. Not counting weekends/days off.

PV= procedures validation, an evaluation of flows and such before going to the simulator
MV= movement validation. This is an evaluation of your ability to handle the airplane. V1 cuts, engine out, single engine ILS, etc. Your first sims concentrate on this, learning to operate that airplane.
LOE- Line Orientation Experience. After your MV you get some sims where you practice flying the line. You do actual flights. Normally you will have issues that you may face in line that makes you think and use CRM. Runway changes. Minor emergencies. Maybe an airport below minimums. Often there is not a “right” answer but better answers.
This ends with a LOFT where you are evaluated in a scenario. Again, these scenarios usually entail some thought and not just flying skills.
There may be another knowledge evaluation with the LOFT geared toward line orientation questions, operation manual questions, maybe some limitations and memory items.
Normally this is open book.
Under AQP busting one maneuver normally does not mean you fail. If there is time left during your validation they can retrain you and let you do it again, up to a certain number. Crashing, however, normally means you failed.
Same with the oral under AQP. You can be retrained on the spot in a certain number of areas.
Being able to work well with your partner is also key in AQP. You are both being evaluated... or are supposed to be evaluated. You aren’t supposed to be operating on your own.
This is a generic description.

Does that mean you can start training with 1430h tt? (No sim counted towards TT yet)

Just interviewed a few weeks ago.
Brief an ILS, answer about a dozen technical questions, and a few “tell me about a time when...” HR questions.
Very straightforward if you’re instrument current.
The company positive spaces you to Houston, puts you up in the Sheraton right next to the airport, and the interview is at 8am the next morning.
